Welcome!
I’m Veronica, a creative designer specializing in interior design. I have a background in both talented art and talented theater, which helps me develop my creativity in many ways. I am a local artist in my hometown, constantly finding art shows and events to showcase my recent works. I have also done professional photography and have assisted in teaching a local photography skills program for middle and high school students. Between these three disciplines, I am passionate about finding innovative ways to express and display my creativity. I am driven by helping others, whether it is direct or indirect.

DESIGN
Visual artwork has been a passion of mine since I was a child. For years, I have practiced artwork in many forms, including pencil drawings, charcoal drawings, acrylic paintings, oil paintings, linoleum printing, magazine collages, found objects art, Mardi Gras bead art, sculptures, and more. I am a local artist in my hometown, where I sell my artwork at various gallery and exhibition events.
When I was younger, I studied photography for about four years under a local organization, The Future's Fund, before they gave me an opportunity to be an assistant photography instructor. I loved being able to pass along my knowledge to other passionate, young artists. I find this art form to be fascinating; it can be used to capture the likeness of a singular idea in so many ways. I particularly feel drawn to portraiture and nature photography because I love capturing moments of life, no matter how big or small.
Interior design is special; it presents the opportunity to completely transform a space along with individual experiences. My main design goal is to build impactful and relevant spaces that exemplify a client's vision. I aim to program the client's space in a way that is efficient and well-rounded, meeting all commercial space accessibility requirements, per the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, because safety and accessibility are nonnegotiable. While meeting these requirements, I enjoy creating spaces that have a thematic aesthetic, building my project ideas from a certain concept, and following it through to the end.

My Interior Design Philosophy
I believe in the power of design to create comfortable and meaningful spaces and to reinvest in communities. Whether apparent or subconscious, design echoes and ripples through many other aspects of life, creating an interesting experience for all users. I have always been an artist at heart, and interior design perfectly matched that and my love for thought-provoking projects. Design is like a big puzzle; everything has a place and I get to configure the puzzle to where everything fits best. To do this, a designer must focus on how the space will be used, which includes many factors. My design success is defined by the user’s experience, the practicality, functionality, and efficiency of my design, as well as my confidence in my design knowledge and decisions. At the forefront of my mind is the underlying meaning of spaces, which helps build both individual and community well-being. I believe that every space has a story and design is a catalyst for that story to be told visually and emotionally. I also focus on sustainability and upcycling of basic materials, making my projects future-oriented. I believe in putting the proper amount of time and effort into planning a project to ultimately offer more than just physical space. I aim to become an “expert citizen” by listening to the needs and stories of clients, adding personal artistic touches to create a unique signature for each project. I believe in adjusting the design for the client, rather than asking the client to adjust to the design.
As Interior Design has become my specialty, I find it important to relay my core values in this field.
