Visual Arts
Visual artwork has been a passion of mine since I was a child. I was put in an entry-level art elective course in 6th grade, and I fell in love with it immediately. Art arose during a very difficult time in my life, and it quickly became an outlet for me. For years, I practiced artwork in many forms, including pencil drawings, charcoal drawings, acrylic paintings, oil paintings, linoleum printing, magazine collages, found objects art, Mardi Gras bead art, sculptures, and more. After spending years in talented art classes, I have become a local artist, selling my artwork at various gallery and exhibition events. I have found ways to incorporate my experience into my career in several ways, but I still create individual art pieces on occasion. Click to enlarge!
