Sewed and refurnished chair and ottoman set
3. Construction Systems Final Project - Framing
Built a scaled model of the framing of a house based on a randomly selected plan.
Project includes basic wood framing, electrical consideration, plumbing consideration, HVAC consideration, and insulation placement.
4. IDEC Competition Student Meditation Center
(completed with fellow designer Maria Molina Cruz)
Used knowledge of all five senses to create a relaxing space for students to retreat to on a college campus, specifically Louisiana State University.
Concept takes inspiration from traditional Japanese zen gardens and incorporates the idea into the well-known geography of the Louisiana marshlands.
Outside of my interior design and visual arts work, I have also worked on a number of creative projects that don't necessarily fall under one category. These projects showcase extenuating skills and levels of knowledge that I have had the opportunity to learn. I enjoy working on outside projects as a way to increase my overall extent of design and creative knowledge; I continue to look for special opportunities like these. Click to enlarge!
