4. IDEC Competition Student Meditation Center

(completed with fellow designer Maria Molina Cruz)

  • Used knowledge of all five senses to create a relaxing space for students to retreat to on a college campus, specifically Louisiana State University.

  • Concept takes inspiration from traditional Japanese zen gardens and incorporates the idea into the well-known geography of the Louisiana marshlands.

Outside of my interior design and visual arts work, I have also worked on a number of creative projects that don't necessarily fall under one category. These projects showcase extenuating skills and levels of knowledge that I have had the opportunity to learn. I enjoy working on outside projects as a way to increase my overall extent of design and creative knowledge; I continue to look for special opportunities like these. Click to enlarge!
